Time for a New Year at MCC

Welcome back for another year at Maritime Christian College. Happy to see lots of old faces returning this year, but also some new faces added to our very unique crowd.
I am looking forward to this year and am sure this year will hold much blessing as the past years have. Hope you will look forward to this year with me.
Our tradition as we undertake a new year, each year at Maritime Christian College is to take time as a student body to elect a council which will represent us before the Board at Maritime Christian College as well our many supporters. These representitives will take charge of any Student body planned activities throughout the year and handle the student finances. Therefore, soon you will hear about a student election that will happen and during that election all will be asked to enter a nominated individual from among the students to represent us during this year. Keep this in mind...

Christmas At Maritime Christian College has been a blast!.... From Darrell wearing lipstick to the Christmas party, to Nathan losing his Clod Hoppers to Tyler!

Just a reminder to all about the coming Christmas party, it is on December 6th at 6pm. And afterwards we are heading out to Tom's to have a $5 Yankee gift exchange, so everyone is asked to bring something. If there are any problems or concerns please talk to one of the Student Association people and they can help you or whatever. I personally want to see who can bring the sweetest gift to this thing...it should be interesting with all of us nut cases. Anyways be there and don't forget!

Christmas Party/Bowling

Finally an update on the Student Association website!

This is just a reminder to all students to sign up for bowling on November 17th @ 6:45pm. It will be lots of fun to hang out with eachother, outside of the building. Also Christmas is coming very close, and we will be having a Christmas party on Friday, December 8th. All the information is on both of the sign-up sheets in the lobby of the school. If you have any questions feel free to ask Joel, James, Rebecca, or myself (Shannon).
These sign-up sheets will only be up for a short amount of time, so that we can get numbers to people to fully confirm our reservation spaces. So go and sign-up!!

Gym Time!

Hey you bunch of lazy bums, I myself am included in this group. It's time to slip into the spandex and get sweaty. Were going to be watching Richard Simmons' Sweating to the Oldies videos for exercise.
Actually no, we'll just be sweating with the oldies, Ryan you are 26 years old, so thus you are old, because you are older than everybody.
I digress, and just want to let you know that we'll be having regular gym time at UPEI every Tuesday afternoon from 1-2:30 pm. It is optional but encouraged and tonnes of fun. Please do not wear spandex though, just because I don't want to see anybody in it, (John). We'll vary the games and you can show off your "mad skillz". It's like my good friends Hal Johnson and Joanne McCloud say, "Stay fit and have fun." But we'll just embarass oursevles and have fun doing it.

Well the Maritime Christian College Blog is up and running and we are looking forward to soon having a student Council selected. Once the Student Council representitives have been chosen they will be in charge of all dealings surrounding this blog.
